It would be really nice if you post an updated in case it happens again (god forbid!). I'm definitely not interested in doing this as a routine, and about that welding method, duuuude i'd just buy a new keyboard and throw that thing in the bin 

Thanks a lot for sharing this solution. Do you think that you received your keyboard with some caps having slots wider than others? Or do you think that the slots all had a fixed width at the beginning but some became wider from usage? If the latter ...

Personally, I cannot confirm that the issue was first seen on 4.0.0.8. I bought the keyboard in April and the issue started showing in late May / early June. I had AC installed at that time which made frequent updates to Azoth.
