I have ASUS TUF F15 FX507ZC4 and I want to upgrade the RAM to 16 GB both slots. I bought a Crucial stick with the same specifications as the original, but it a conflict and the screen went black. What would the ideal RAM to buy?

Hello,

What is the part number for the one you tried that didnt work? (I assume it worked on its own?)

This one from Kingston should work KF432S20IBK2/32

Looks ok but mixing is always an issue so that's probably the main reason why they did not work together. The kits should generally be fine but every so often there are a few issues, memory manufacturers do change the actual chip specifications sometimes so a batch made 1 year ago might not be the same as a batch made more recently. I only mention this as often the laptop compatibility list is generated at the time of testing when the laptop is new to the market. So when buying for older laptops make sure there is a good returns policy in the event it does not work.
