I purchased an Asus TUF Gaming F16 (2025), which has the following original processor and memory specifications:
Intel Core™ i7-14650HX 2.2 GHz
2 x 8 GB Samsung 1Rx16 PC5-5600B-SC0-1010-XT
The original memory operates at 5600 MT/s.
I would like to upgrade to 32 GB of memory while maintaining the 5600 MT/s speed. I tested two Kingston memory modules, model KF556S40IB-16 (16 GB FURY Impact 1Rx8 5600 MHz), but the speed dropped to 4800 MT/s. I installed both modules and then just one; in both situations, the speed remained at 4800 MT/s.
Is there any memory that would allow the upgrade to 32 GB while maintaining 5600 MT/s?
