I'm trying to charge my Asus TUF Gaming F15 with a 100 W outlet power adapter and a 100W USB C cable, but I can't get it to work. Have tried a reset. Is 100W still not enough to charge via USB C? Can I ONLY charge with propriatary power adapter that came with it?
i have TUF F15 507vu , i charged it with my 45watt samsung adapter , it works pretty well , but after several time the charger burned LOL! i guess 100watt charger will work well , but i advice u to use the one came with the laptop 😄
Mine won’t charge via 100w usb c either. I have yet to receive any useful information on other platforms. Has anyone found a fix for this yet? I have a tuf gaming f15 fx507zc4 with two usb c ports one of which is labeled thunderbolt
So apparently there are some models, including mine, that have a USB C /Thunderbolt port but you can't use it for charging...only data transfer. Why Asus would do that is a mystery to me. And marketing USB C charging seems a bit scammy.
