TUF GAMING A16 FA607PI will perform terrible if the plug in after startup instead of before. (READ)

So, we all know how it will show the plugged in popup on screen when it gets plugged? Well, when I start up the laptop with the plug in before i press the power on it works normal with the plug being taken in and out. If I start the laptop without the plug in and put it in after full bootup, the popup shows where it says plugged in as normal, but still limits the system to the performance it is limited to when I dont plug in at all. Please Help!!!

Hello,

Could it be the Armoury crate software keeping the current mode active? I don't use it so check for a setting or uninstalling for testing purposes to see what happens.

Thanks bro, it didnt exactly fix the problem but now that I dont have armory crate when it glitches and thinks its still on battery the performance isnt limited and since the voltage is whatever with the plug everything works out
