TUF Gaming A15 FA506QR inaccessible boot device after update to BIOS 412

Hi all,

After updating my laptop to bios 412 it doesn’t boot anymore with inaccessible boot device. So I attempted to repair it, however, it seems that the bios doesn’t recognize my system disk anymore. I can only access the secondary disk in the second NVMe slot. This happened right after the bios update. I guess this is a problem with the bios since it happened right after.

Any help appreciated
Cheers*

Full model name under the notebook (usually next to the serial number): FA506QR

Â*Bios version: 412

Â*CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H

Â*Memory amount in GB: 32

Â*GPU: RTX3070

Â*SSD/HDDs/Optical drives: 2x NVMe

Â*AC Adapter: original

Â*Operating system: win 10

Original ASUS factory image or clean install? Microsoft Activated yes/no?
Clean install, activated
Â*Â*
Â*Drivers Installed (include version and especially any non-ASUS approved notebook drivers): all from MyASUS Â*

Â*Any third Party temp/voltage software installed: NoÂ*

Â*System Overclocked (provide details)? No

Â*Any hardware upgraded? Second NVMe 1Tb, upgraded RAM to 32GB

Correction:
The bios recognizes both NVMe drives, but windows doesn’t Â*

Flash previous bios 408 or 409. There is a problem of IRQ resources with 412 (go see storage controler in peripheral devices)

I hope they will fix it...

Edit : don't forget to block bios update in windows, otherwise it will be flashed in 412.

Same here. Original Drive still seen by the bios and windows, add 2nd HDD (2tb Sabrent RocketQ) seen in bios but not in windows. Had to rollback via bios to 409 (roll back via windows did not work). Had a few reboots via the boot menu, did not remeber what I did to make it go away and directly go to windows.

Still have a Code 10 with "System Firmware" in my device managers but no issue so far so i will leave it as it is.

two months after the bios got released and they haven't fixed it still.

I keep getting the new bios via Windows Update.
Sometimes I just open my laptop and boom, new bios installed and 2nd SSD gone.
