Hi, has anybody successfully upgraded from the stock 16GB up to 32GB (40GB including onboard 8GB) ? The current configuration is 8GB onboard + 8GB 3200MHz DDR4.
When I tried installing a 32GB stick in the SODIMM slot and reboot I just get a blank screen. I can't even access the BIOS. I have the power light on and the battery indicator flashes twice, this could be an error code but have drawn a blank trying to google it. I have left it in this state for over 30mins to see if it just needs time to configure the RAM like I have read somewhere in the forum.
The RAM I am trying to install is a Corsair Vengeance SODIMM DDR4 3200MHz 32GB stick. (CMSX32GX4M1A3200C22)
I have updated my BIOS with version 328.
Any help would be much appreciated.
