This appeared after the update "ASUS Windows Dynamic Lighting Plug-in 1.9.0.0". After reboot the error does not appear. Also, the "Default" window does not appear at startup. What is this and how to fix it? Laptop ASUS Tuf Gaming F15 RTX 3050 i5 11400H.Снимок экрана 2023-12-16 123622.png

On my system fast startup is not turned on by default, so its not the case

It seems that everyone has a different solution to the problem, disabling fast startup helped me.

Btw, my laptop is g713qy with AMD 6800m, so seems its happening both on Nvidia and AMD graphic cards

Radical solution. Start the computer in safe mode. Delete the Program files, Asus, AacAmbientLighting folder 🙂 restart the computer and continue using it without any problems.

This might actually be the solution if asus doesn't provide a fix soon lmao

Guys, what this AacAmbient even need for? What it is doing, what functions it has?

I deleted it and everything works fine. Rog strix 513RM

Found from the internet: -

AacAmbientLighting.exe is a part of the ASUS Armoury Crate software, which is used for controlling the RGB lighting on ASUS devices. This executable file is related to the ASUS Windows Dynamic Lighting Plug-in.

Users have reported seeing an error related to AacAmbientLighting.exe in their system’s stability monitor after updating to a certain version of the ASUS software.

Seems like pretty useless stuff, and causing so many problems 😕

Apparently, in my case, I received this error whenever I used the web browsers or had 3-4 apps in background. The browser windows displayed that there's no memory left, they lagged and then the error message popped up. So, I just updated the armory crate to a few new updates shown ( AI Noise Cancellation Audio Software, Customizable Hotkeys, Aura Wallpaper), they all contained the Core SDK plugins, btw. So far, it's going well, but fingers crossed.

Another excerpt from the internet:- "ASUS Windows Dynamic Lighting is a feature in ASUS’s Armoury Crate software. It allows users to control the lighting effects of compatible ASUS devices, such as LED-lit keyboards and mice."
