"AacAmbientLighting.exe" This error appears in the stability monitor every time the system starts.

This appeared after the update "ASUS Windows Dynamic Lighting Plug-in 1.9.0.0". After reboot the error does not appear. Also, the "Default" window does not appear at startup. What is this and how to fix it? Laptop ASUS Tuf Gaming F15 RTX 3050 i5 11400H.

Have the same error. Msg window is displayed in the middle of the screen saying: "AacAmbientLightning.exe - exception unknown software exception 0xe0434352) occured in the application at location 0x00007FFBE9E556". Nothing helps but full restart. It sucks.

Had the aacambientligting.exe error with my Z790-E desktop system beginning about a week ago.  Been using @Miffy's solution with no apparent ill effects thus far.

I have uninstallled and then re installed Armoury Crate a couple of times today. On the last install - after install, I go to the updates page in AC, and I see the AC update to 5.7.9.1. So, I update, and when AC re opens, it continues to show 5.7.9.0 as the updated version of AC, with no further prompt to update to 5.7.9.1. I give up but am going to let this run and see if the issue that has been occurring to us all, happens again.

same issue started happening to me again around 6am this morning

woke up at 9:30 to find the pc freezing and doesn't response to anything with an error message . had to hard restart it to be able to use again
