I have an ASUS TUF GAMING A17 FA706QM_FA706QM / Ryzen 7 5800H / RTX 3060.
It started happening 2 weeks ago and it occurs on a hourly basis when gaming. I have this pulsating "lag" in which the frame freezes for half a second like every second. I did a factory reset, it's still happening. So I checked the temps and they seemed fine but for good measure I disabled turbo mode (performance plan -> maximum processor state to 99%) and I undervolted. Then when gaming I have a clock speed of around 3GHz, CPU temp peaks at 65°C and GPU around 50°C. However it still keeps happening from time to time so I can rule out throttling. Also when it's happening I don't notice anything out of the ordinary when looking at the task manager.
Any idea what else to troubleshoot or what the problem might be? It just started happening out of nowhere and it's quite puzzling to me.
