My machine is TUF, FX507ZV4. My thunderbolt slot seem to be dead, I think from the very begging. Never manged to use it for anything but charging my phone.
I don't see any thunderbolt in my Device manager, nor in BIOS menu.
Maybe in Bios menu you have to drill somewhere to find it, but I don't see where.
May happen my device has a defect and the manufacturer didn't connect the thunderbolt properly? If I plug a phone to thunderbolt slot, it charges, so it must be at least plugged in to the board somehow.

The solution was to hold "turn on/off" button for 40 seconds, and then turn the comp on again.

Most of the time, two ways can be used to solve the problem.
Remove the laptop battery and the Bios battery, wait a few minutes, and reinsert it. Turn the computer back on.
If you open the laptop, always remember static electricity precautions and keep in mind that you may void the warranty.
Or, more simply, you can disconnect the power supply and use the laptop until the battery runs out, then hold down the power button for a minute to make sure there is no more electricity .
Then reconnect the charger and turn it on.
Alternatively, if the laptop is under warranty, you can send it in for service, where they will probably change the motherboard, but most of the time the problem will recur.
