Hello everyone,
I've been facing a frustrating issue with my laptop recently. Every time I try to play games that require high GPU power, my laptop crashes. I've taken several steps to address the problem, but unfortunately, I haven't had any success so far.
Here's what I've tried:
- Resetting my laptop and OS to see if it would resolve the issue.
- Manually updating my GPU drivers, both through the manufacturer's website and GeForce Experience.
- Ensuring that my laptop's temperature remains within safe limits (between 50-70°C) during gameplay.
Despite these efforts, the crashes persist and are making gaming nearly impossible. I'm at a loss for what could be causing this issue and how to resolve it.
Laptop Details:
- Laptop Model: ASUS FX505DT
- GPU: Nvdia 1650
- CPU: Ryzen 5 3550
- RAM: 16GB
- OS: WINDOWS 11
If anyone has experienced similar problems or has any suggestions on what might be causing these crashes and how to fix them, I would greatly appreciate your input. I'm open to trying additional troubleshooting steps or solutions to get back to uninterrupted gaming.
Thank you in advance for your help!

This thread looks like it has some answers. It sounds like you probably need to roll back the GPU drivers to an older version.
