Hi there
I need help with my new laptop ASUS TUF Gaming F15 FX507ZV4-HQ039
I am new to gaming laptops so when i get it i am not sure how to download and instal drivers for i7 and RTX 4060
Also i know that laptops temperature will be the problem and i found that it is possible to undervolt both my CPU and my GPU
can someone explain to me how do i do this? do i need to download some apps?
and are apps for RTX 4060 and intel diffrent in any way ? will the programs clash ?
my specs are
12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H Processor 2.3 GHz (24M Cache, up to 4.7 GHz, 14 cores: 6 P-cores and 8 E-cores)
16GB DDR4 (8GB DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM 2)
512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU, 8GB GDDR6
2420MHz at 140W (2370MHz Boost Clock+50MHz OC, 115W+25W Dynamic Boost)
MUX Switch + NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, IGPU Intel Iris X Graphics
90WHrs, 4S1P, 4-cell Li-ion
6.0, 240W AC Adapter, Output: 20V DC, 12A, 240W, Input: 100~240C AC 50/60Hz universal
i will only be doing some light gaming (i like to play games on low specs ) + AND THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT i would like to try my hand at AI (image genareation + stable difusion)

Any drivers needed for the CPU will be installed from Windows Update, so just open that and click check for updates. For the RTX 4060, download Nvidia Geforce Experience and you can download and install the drivers directly in that app with one click.
To reduce temperatures, I would recommend buying a cooling pad (I use this one: Amazon.com: havit HV-F2056 15.6"-17" Laptop Cooler Cooling Pad - Slim Portable USB Powered (3 Fans),...) and placing the laptop on top of it while gaming or doing other intensive workloads.
Your CPU cannot be undervolted; only HX ones can. To undervolt your GPU, follow the instructions in this video: How to to undervolt your laptop GPU?! | MSI Afterburner #gtx1650 #performance #gaming #undervolting .... It might give you a little boost in performance but getting a cooling pad will make a much bigger difference.
