I have an ASUS fx505gt gaming laptop that suddenly had a booting issue. Whenever I plug in the charger and press the power button it does nothing, and when I remove the charger, the charger light indicator stays on so I had to hold the power button for like 20-30 seconds to remove it. After power draining, pressing the power button still does nothing but after 2-3 minutes the laptop suddenly comes back to life. I tried replacing the CMOS battery but the problem still persists, reseating the RAM sticks and using running the laptop with no battery(DC) doesnt fix it either. After booting, I noticed the time is the time when I last shutted off my laptop, meaning it didn't synchronized with the current time. Also, all of my drivers are up-to-date.
