Hi, I’m using a TUF Gaming Advantage Edition laptop. After the BIOS updated to version 422, my external monitor connected via USB-C to DisplayPort stopped working properly after sleep.
When the monitor goes to sleep or the laptop suspends, the display does not come back unless I physically unplug and replug the cable. This happens in both Windows 11 and Linux, so it's not an OS problem.
Before BIOS 422, the system could wake the monitor without issue. I’ve tested multiple cables and OS versions. The problem seems to be related to USB-C DisplayPort behavior in the new BIOS.
Product: ASUS TUF Gaming Advantage Edition Laptop (FA617NS)
BIOS Version: 422
Operating Systems Tested: Windows 11 (latest), Linux (Kubuntu 24.04)Please escalate this as a regression issue. The BIOS cannot be downgraded, and this is disrupting my workflow.
