I just bought an ASUS TUF Gaming F17 (FX706HM-HX004W) Notebook, and the range of the WIFI is very short, my old 13 y.o.)Notebook

has way better range then this. Is there some solution to this problem?

I tried to update the drivers, but it didn't help at all.

after creating a restore point or system backup, you could install the "3.0.1.1294 Mediatek Wifi" version as recommended at this link.

Consider that having a system backup can save your life, for the various issues that may occur in the future.
