I recently bought F15 FX507VU laptop. It has a single module of 16 GB DDR5 5600 Mhz ram in one slot. I intend to upgrade the capacity to 64 GB gradually which is possible. Can I add one module of 32 GB DDR5 to the second slot for a start, leave the 16 GB of ram in place and have a capacity of 48 GB? Is there a necessity that ram slots must have equal capacities of ram modules?
