Asus TUF Gaming A15 Electricity on Outer Case While Charging via USB-C

Hi everyone, I'm using an Asus TUF Gaming A15 (FA507NVR) laptop. When I charge it via USB-C using a Ugreen Nexode 100W PD charger, I feel a slight tingling or static electric sensation when I touch the metal part of the laptop case — especially on the lid. This does not happen when I use the original Asus barrel charger. The Ugreen adapter has a 2-prong (non-grounded) plug. I suspect this might be related to the lack of grounding. Is this behavior normal with metal-bodied laptops and non-grounded PD chargers? Has anyone experienced the same issue? Would using a grounded charger or grounded wall socket solve it completely? Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated!

Hello,

Strange one as the 3 pin is not a grounding pin but an earthing pin, there to help for safety reasons and is not used as grounding. (Like for example US plugs are 2 pin so the design concept is the same, 3rd pin not used so this static you are experiencing shouldn't happen)

It could be the charger itself , maybe try a different one / brand first?
