Has anyone encountered this type of glitch on their laptop? It looks like an after image with horizontal lines. Tried updating drivers and lowering display refresh rate to no avail. Tried connecting the laptop to an external display and the issue still appears. It comes and goes but it happens kind of often. Any help is appreciated

Hello,

If you get this on an external display it means the GPU output is the source of the problem, as in it might be failing or running too hot.

Is everything running default settings or have you overclocked anything?

Try hardware monitor to see how hot the GPU is running, all temperature readings like VRAM, GPU, Hotspot. Post a few screenshots when the laptop is doing nothing / idle.

Does the issue happen only when gaming or if you turn on from cold and wait in windows, does it happen too?
