ASUS TUF A16 (2023) Solution for Graphics drivers corruption, what worked for me

Hi all,

I have struggled with the computer for almost a year and a half. I used Asus services and participated in several conversations on this portal.

Nothing worked for me till date and I was cursing Asus and AMD for substandard hardware.

Here is what worked for me.

1.  Reset/Format your pc without internet.
2. When the computer starts, remember not to start the internet.
3. Disallow windows to update your drivers. (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/disable-driver-updates/63957b76-b55c-4c59-93f0...
4. Start internet now.
5. Install "My asus" app from the Microsoft store. Download the latest drivers from it.
6. Download Armoury Crate
7. Download latest AMD GPU drivers
8. All done!

Microsoft update service was corrupting my drivers.

Fingers crossed. May this be the final reset I (and you) need.

Nope, no success. The crashes have reduced but these are there. Something to do with a mess up from AMD drivers team. The core frequency is making the hardware crash. Need to reduce the core frequency.
