UPDATE, it seems like the problem is on the USB PORTS. i don't know the specific term for this but the problem is on the USB ports. they are still consuming power even after shutdown because when i removed my mouse's dongle it didn't drained that much compared to previous scenario when the dongle is attached while shutdown.

there's a function in the bios, which is to cut power to the usb ports when it's off.

However, if you said the battery charges slowly, I don't think that is the problem.
Also, batteries explode, not only when they are old, because there may be manufacturing defects.

for one thing be careful if there are battery malfunctions, because if it explodes you can create disasters, so until you solve it keep the pc under watch and at night away from ignitable material, for example keep it in the bathroom at night.

These are rare cases, but they do happen

for second thing it could be possible that updates have changed the settings so take a look at this article.

Thanks man, about the battery explosion we can disregard that scenario since my unit is quite new... I'll just check the other links that you attached. Thanks a lot

Thanks again man, I'll just explore that ErP thingy on my free time. For the mean time I'll just unplug my peripherals after shutting down. Thanks a lot for the help

nothing
take a look here, too, to make a possible recalibration.
