With my LG C1, when the ABL kicks in it gradually fades the brightness down, with this panel, it switches very abruptly. This almost makes the panel look like its flickering or strobing in some scenes. I notice it most in auto HDR games and when trying to use windows with HDR enabled. If i have a video playing on one side of the screen and a window on the other with text, the window with text will pulsate brightness rapidly with the content of the video. Does anyone else experience this? Do i need to adjust something? I am forced to disable hdr on desktop because of this. I know that most disable HDR on the desktop, but with my last panel (the C1), i could just leave it enabled all the time and it just worked... and thats a TV! I tried messing with the uniform brightness setting and it doesnt correct this. Ive also adjusted the SDR brightness slider in Windows to something like 35% which helped... but its still pretty bad. Its a darn shame too because this is really the only complaint i have with an otherwise incredible monitor.

No one else experiencing this? I find it hard to believe that my ABL is set more aggressively than others. I understand why ABL is in play here, but why does it need to switch brightness so quickly? Is there a way to disable it or adjust it? Even if at the expense of burn in/warranty?
