2nd Monitor VG2436H

Inherited a VG236H 120 Hz 1080p monitor after building my son's box and him moving up to a 165 Hz 1440p panel. I'm using it as a second monitor w/ the 120 Hz Dual Link DVI cable. Primary monitor is a VG248QE. The MoBo is the Asus Z87 Maximus VI Formula and twin cards in Asius 780s in SLI. I'd like to move the VG236H to the IGP which of course offers me no DVI Output. I have no information as to what bandwidth the MoBo offers via the HDMI port or what cable considerations I need to address in selecting an appropriate cable to maximize refresh rate. Have always avoided HDMI preferring DL DVI or DP so never paid much attention to it. Suggestions ?

That link says ... " Supports HDMI with max. resolution 4096 x 2160 @ 24 Hz / 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz" ... no mention of 1920 x 1080"
