The ROG Omni Receiver allows wireless connections to two compatible devices without compromising performance. The ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless is the first keyboard to offer compatibility out-of-the-box, and the ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition being the first mouse. Both devices can be connected to just one Omni Receiver, particularly handy for systems with less USB ports such as ultra-compact gaming laptops.
Each Omni Receiver is designed for pairing with one set of peripherals (not two keyboards or two mice) for optimal performance. Also note that when a device is connected to a new Omni Receiver, it will unpair with the previous one.
Low Click-Latency
(Internal Test Results)
The advantage of the Omni Receiver is clear - even when two devices are connected, the click latency remains extremely low - still faster than the competition when in single-device mode.
Lower Power Consumption
(Internal Test Results)
With lower power consumption, wireless devices have longer battery life, giving you untethered gaming for longer.
Full Report Rate
(Internal Test Results)
Logically, when two devices share a single RF receiver, you'd think the report rate would be halved. Generally, you'd be right, but in the case of the ROG Omni Receiver - there's some magic going on here. The report rate remains the same (virtually 1000Hz) with no perceivable difference when a keyboard is also connected to the Omni Receiver.
Despite the mouse being 2 meters away from the receiver and a keyboard is also connected, SpeedNova technology still ensures a fast and reliable connection, while utilizing less power to maximize battery life.
For best reception, connect the ROG Omni Receiver to the bundled USB Extender Adapter then clip to your mousepad.
Getting Started
Install Armoury Crate and make sure all updates are installed.
A few points to remember:
ONE keyboard + ONE Mouse
You can connect up to one keyboard and one mouse for each ROG Omni Receiver. When one device is paired, Armoury Crate shows you what is connected and what else can be paired.
Pairs with One Omni Receiver Only
For best performance, devices do not pair with more than one Omni Receiver.
