Level Sense is a GPU Tweak III feature that utilises the card’s onboard orientation sensors (gyro/accelerometer IMU) to detect when the GPU is no longer level (i.e., sag/tilt) and then warns you, allowing you to correct the mount/support.
Supported GPUs
* Astral 5080/5090D/White SKUs also supported
What you need
-
GPU Tweak III v2.0.8.5 (or newer)
-
A supported ROG 5090 Matrix, or Astral GPU.
-
If GPU Tweak prompts for an MCU update when enabling Level Sense, that’s expected on some Astral setups (GPU Tweak may request an “MCU_update…” package).

Set it up
-
Open GPU Tweak III → click “Level Sense”.
-
Calibrate if needed
-
If the GPU is already installed and reading sensibly, you can skip calibration.
-
If prompted (or readings look off), click Calibration to set a baseline.
-
Set your Threshold and Save

If the threshold is exceeded, you will get a pop-up notification in the system tray and the Level Sense section will alert you to off-angle installation. Ensure a sufficient threshold is set; we recommend 0.30.
