Device Profiles in Armoury Crate make it easy to switch between different configurations tailored to various scenarios. Each device allows multiple profiles for particular tasks or games, such as Call of Duty and Photoshop. Sometimes you want a whole set of shortcuts for what application or games you want to open.

Let's Begin

Before anything, make sure you have disabled Aura Sync, profile change is usually locked so that you don't break the synchronized lighting effects accidentally with the hotkeys.

Simply go to the Aura Sync page and unselect the device.

1. To start editing or creating a user profile, choose a device in Armoury Crate to open the device page.

2. In the top right corner of Armoury Crate, click the profile dropdown. Choose the profile you’d like to begin customizing.

3. Click the button next to the dropdown to duplicate, export, rename, create, import, sync, or reset profiles.

Helpful tip: Edit any of the keys or buttons you need for a specific application or game, then rename the profile with the name of it by going to options.

4. Switch between profiles whether in Acmoury Crate or built-in hotkeys.

For 65% keyboards, the default hotkey is Fn+A~H.

For 80% (TKL) and full-sized keyboards, the hotkeys are Fn+1~6.

Helpful tip: To further streamline your configurations, combine user profiles with scenario profiles to automate profile switching based on the app or game currently active.

Onboard Memory Profiles Vs Software Profiles

Typically, a keyboard can store six different profiles in the onboard memory, one is the default. All the settings saved under these profiles will stay with the device no matter which PC you connect it to.

If you wish to create more, you can. They will be software profiles - not stored in the onboard memory on the device. These profiles will work just the same as the onboard memory profiles as long as the device is connected to the same PC where the profiles are saved.

Create new and voila! You've got one extra profile!
