My Zephyrus M16 (GU603ZW, Windows 11) started showing a very strange behavior today. Whenever I press some keys on the laptop's keyboard, it somehow triggers the "minus sign" from the numpad to act as if it is held down. The strange part of it is that this laptop does NOT have a Numpad.
The keys that affect it are:
Enter, Spacebar, Left Shift, Left Alt, Left Ctrl, Z, B, N, and F8.
What I've tried so far:
- Reinstall Keyboard drivers (Device Manager, Uninstall all listed keyboards, Restart computer)
- Uninstall/Reinstall Armor Crate using official tools
- Hard reset (unplug laptop from power, shut down, hold down power button for 60 seconds, plug laptop to the power)
Using https://www.iobit.com/en/keyboard-test.php, I am able to determine that ALL the keyboard keys are working, but the issue I'm experiencing is as if the keys mentioned above are linked to a macro that is programmed to "hold down" the Numpad minus sign.
Any ideas/help with this is greatly appreciated.
