Zephyrus G16 Volume Changes Randomly

Hey all

I just got an open box G16 from Best Buy, 2024 model, and I'm having the strangest issue. The volume in my speakers will randomly and independently change for seemingly no reason. The right side will get louder, the left side will get quieter, vice versa, or any combination in between. I also seem to notice a loss in fidelity on occasion as well, but I can't tell if this is just because it's quieter and thus not as bassy.

I've tried the following:

• Updating drivers and realtek audio console
• Installing AND uninstalling Armoury Crate
• Updating bios
• Loading optimized defaults in bios
• Disabling/enabling dolby atmos
• Disabling/enabling enhancements and exclusive control in speaker settings
• Disabling/enabling any AI features I can find.

Has anyone else experienced this? I absolutely adore this laptop otherwise!

Any update on the situation? I'm having the same issue.

Sadly I had to send the laptop in for RMA. They replaced the speaker and the issue is now gone. However, this is now an occasional buzzing for certain low frequencies which is very irritating. Sounds almost like the speaker is a little bit loose, or something.
