I have this laptop for about 4 years, since last year's September month laptop has had so many bugs and problems.
It started with system wide screen hangs and crashes but over time on analyzing found its asus faulty drivers and updates. Mostly the power plans and armory crate. Right now this crash issue is resolved but the problem is when I use turbo mode my fan speed which used to be 5900 rpm as per armory crate earlier in previous versions is now capped at 5200 rpm gpu or 4800 rpm for cpu , my cpu clock is always in max setting 4000+ mhz at 1 or 2 percent usage for all plans , while gaming as a result temps are going as high as 96 or 97 deg some time and average at 93 -94 , only option is to use manual mode where my fans reach there max limit of 6300rpm.
I thought it might have been hardware problem as service centre chat support told me but it wasn't as at hardware repair shop they said motherboard if had any fault it would not even be loading windows , so I got the it repasted , secondly if my fans were faulty got them replaced too. But nothing seems resolved.
All thermal / laptop gliches causing screen cut out / hangs are because asus is not updating bios as windows 24h2 isn't compatible with old settings that is what my assumption is as on analysis it always is power plans switching which is causing thermal spikes or cut out wrt Microsoft's new adaptive energy saver and windows dynamic lighting which cause aura sevices to fail. Finally asus needs to fix armory crate as it is fully faulty and is destroying systems over time because these thermal harms or any overheating can cause cpu damage as it is causing cpu to reach its upper thermal limit. ( I have contacted Microsoft , amd from there side the problem is with OEM drivers only. Fault in amd side is cpu was not good with hardware acceleration which fixes if u turn of it in widows settings).
