ok so today I tried to turn my laptop on and the display was just black.
i tried open/close the llid but could not get my Windows Hello login to appear. Looked like it was trying to verify Windows Hello, with the screen off. I thought so because of the red LED light blinking at top, but the screen was off. Caps lock key was working OK.
I had to forcibly cut power by holding the PWR button 40 secs. Then after powering it on I got the login screen to work.
Sometimes in FFXIV my character stops moving (i use the 'w' key to move him forward). I think I want to send this computer in geet it looked at, what do you think? are these big enough issues to worry about? My warranty, if any, extends until December/January. I bought the laptop at Best Buy (bestbuy.com).
as of 7:02PM PDT the computer got stuck in a boot loop with the white boot screen stuck, and the Windows Hello camera system flashing red. The screen was stuck and ccould go no further.
I got inside just a reboot later. but it still has finicky startup process.
