S key sometimes doesn't work (M16 Zephyrus 2023)

Hello,
I bought this laptop in October of 2023 and recently the S key has been having issues. It would randomly stop being responsive.

If I hold down on it when it does respond, it goes on forever however individual presses sometimes don't work. Likewise, if I hold down on it when it's unresponsive it never gives an input. Idk how to explain it better sorry

Could it be an issue from overheating? I game pretty regularly, and it puts the laptop under heavy load

Here's what I'd suggest:

Blow it out:

Use compressed air to try and dislodge any dust or crumbs that might be under the keycap. Seriously, you'd be surprised what can get in there.

Check the keycap:

Carefully try to reseat the keycap. Sometimes they can pop loose slightly. There are guides online showing how to do this for laptop keyboards, but be gentle!

Update drivers:

Make sure your keyboard drivers are up to date. It's a long shot, but sometimes weird keyboard behavior can be driver-related.

ROG Support:

If none of that works, definitely reach out to ASUS ROG support. Since it's still under warranty, they should be able to help. Explain the issue clearly, like you did here. They might offer a repair or replacement.

Don't try to disassemble the keyboard yourself unless you're really comfortable with that kind of thing.
