okay so i bought my laptop 3 months back, and recently, i have been noticing that my graphics crashes sometimes when i open up games like valorant. it would give me a notification that HDR-ready display is detected, and 8 out of 10 times it would just freeze my screen or send me to a black screen after that, and when it happens i am unable to cntrl+shift+windows+b to reset my graphics drivers, and thus have to force restart my laptop. is there any fix to this issue?

Interesting post, as I'm having somewhat similar issue. Instead of giving me a popup error, it does freezes without fully opening the application (Diablo 4) from the client menu. Then the fan goes to max speed to cool the PC, this fan made me aware as I held the power button to force shutdown, and yes the heat can be felt. Everything is updated as well. Thank you for the post to let Asus be aware.

If you're using a Nvidia card this should've all been resolved since 365.90 drivers and up. Issues related to Advance Optimus switching improperly. If all else fails, set to dGPU.
