my laptop g16 (4070/Amd) has been freezing irregularly these past few days. it just stops responding no sound and I need to hard reboot it.
everything is updated btw. I did reset windows once but just through the option in settings not with a bootable usb.
nothing shows on the event viewer, literally nothing on the time it crashed.
at first I thought it was hdr so I just disabled it. but it happened again. and now I think it does happen when I change gpu mode from eco to standard. this cannot be a coincidence, it can stay for hours and hours withoht a crash, the moment i switch tostandard after a little bit, usually less than an hour it just crashes.
what could this be? is it wven actually switching gpu mode or is this just a crazy coincidence. if anyone can help me I would be very very thankful.

I have exactly the same problem on my machine running on an Intel i9. I guess they messed the software up (again). Can’t really use it since it freezes permanently. Disappointed.

Got a blue screen now telling me video failure; internal GPU being used.. I assume it is a bug caused by switching from external to internal GPU since using the NVIDIA GPU it works like a charm…
