My laptop hasn't had these issues for long, like a few months but they were never bad until recently. Sometimes my laptop will go into sleep (not shutdown) from what I assume is overheating while I'm gaming. The cpu's heat never displays above 82 Celsius though, both on HWMonitor and G-Helper. I assume its overheating because when I feel it after, sometimes a random part of my laptop will be stupid hot. Sometimes its the middle of the keyboard, other times its left of the power button. I've tried disabling cpu boost, limiting cpu wattage, everything I could find but it just keeps going into sleep. To make things worse, today its been doing it and when I feel it, it's not all that hot. The games this most commonly occurs during is Potionomics (an indie game on steam that doesn't seem like it would be all that needy system-wise) and Baldur's Gate 3. I would appreciate some help here, because i don't know what to do anymore.

Good for you. Mine G14 heats to 95 Celsius playing Overwatch 2 then it shuts down and I am getting suspended in a game for the leaving the match.
