There are two problems I've encountered with my computer lately:
The more problematic one is that occasionally my laptop won't turn the screen on after I put it in hibernate mode by either closing the lid or pressing the power key (that's how I decided to set it up--idk if it matters. I'll come back after not using it for a couple hours and the keyboard is on, but when I try typing all I get is that sound the system makes when a mandatory dialogue box pops up and you try to click away. I had to turn it of by holding the power button and turn it back on for it to work. Also, sometimes even if the screen is on, it won't let me login with my password and says something like it needs to be reset (I could have the specific prompt wrong).
This one is more of an annoyance, but it kept on making a system notification sound every few minutes after it was in sleep mode due to me not using it. I was on the other side of the room, and each time it did that, it would turn the screen back on, but when I finally checked there were no notifications or windows to attend to.
Any helpful thought on what might be going on?
