I couldn’t find any solution for my GX551QS keyboard issue — the situation is the same as in these threads.
G634JZ – Keyboard and RGB Lights Not Working | Power Button OK | No Fix After Full Resets
The problem started when I updated through MyAsus software updater. There was a RogKeyboardFirmware update, but the update suddenly closed midway and got stuck at 50%.
Since then, my keyboard is completely unresponsive:
No key inputs
No RGB lighting
Only the power button works (and on the GX551QS, the power button is part of the keyboard module).
Has anyone here experienced the same issue? Is there a solution or a way to recover/reinstall the firmware for the keyboard module?
Any help is much appreciated.
