About a year ago when I was using my laptop normally and I accidentally put it to sleep and pressed the power button and closed my laptop. When I turned the computer back on the keyboard stopped working but the lights were still on. I reset the computer and the lights turned off and the keyboard still didn’t work. About 5 days máster I plugged in a external keyboard and for some reason the keyboard turned back on and worked like normal but once I turned it off it stopped working again and it hasn’t since. I went to microcenter and they told me that I’d have to buy a whole new motherboard because the keys are soldered onto it? What can I do? Is there a different way to fix it? I don’t know how this even happened by just shutting off my computer on sleep and closing it.
