Hello,
I am the proud owner of a 2021 M16 Laptop. After some initial teething issues, I have found it to be a highly suitable product that has been rugged enough to survive dozens of plane trips to multiple countries. I intend to use this laptop for another 3-4 years as my daily driver, as it was a substantial investment. Yet I am confident that 8 cores and 40GB of RAM with 2 nvme lots will remain relevant for a long time.
However, I have noticed that the behavior of my left control key has started to become buggy. Sometimes it works, and other times it does not. When I remap it using Windows Powertoys keyboard manager, it inexplicably begins to work again. My workaround has been to use the other control key.
Yet, I see that this has been a similar issue. It is not a mechanical problem because it works intermittently, during the same session without power on or off, and accessing the keyboard manager seems to reset the problem.
I can write a script to periodically reset the keyboard in the background, but other people have had similar issues with the keyboard.
If you are in a similar boat, please respond.
