I have a notebook Zephyrus S GX701GX, when play a games or the use is intensive (more power needed), the power connector becomes very hot and messages begin to appear indicating that the charge has passed to battery only, and then returns to power.
The power supply seems ok, it doesn't overheat, I tried with a tester to check the connector and it doesn't seem to have any problems.
If I move the connector once it is inserted, it seems that there are positions where it does not make good contact. I assume you need to change the connector on the motherboard side.
Opening the notebook, it doesn't seem to be unsoldered.
Checking with a magnifying glass, the internal connector seems to have only small contacts, it is possible that there are large wires and then few contact points in the connector?
Have others had this problem?
