My 2021 Zephryus G14 GA401QM Will not turn on after inserting ram - solved

Hi so my g14 has been experiencing booting issues due to ram and I deducted it by taking out the original ram and it boots up just fine. So I thought the problem was the ram and turns out, it isn’t, since I recently bought a new ram stick that is compatible with my g14 (because it can hold up to 32gb, I bought a 16gb ram stick) and the laptop still won’t turn on. I have an idea that the memory slot might be the problem, but nothing looks wrong with it, I tried cleaning it with a qtip and isopropyl alcohol, but it still won’t turn on. The new ram could also be faulty, but I’m not sure.

 

 

 

Please can anyone look at the memory slot in this photo to see if there are any problems with it?

I resolved the problem. It was because the laptop previously had a thermal paste leak so I had to clean the thermal paste that was on the ram slot
