I love Asus kit; almost every Asus product I've ever purchased was pretty well thought out and ran great (and most still run great), especially zephyrus and zenbook lines... I arguably have purchased way too many.
If I were to distill all my thoughts all Asus laptop related topics, one thoughts remains:
Find and replace Armory Crate, everywhere it exists, with G-Helper from github.
Oh, and what QQ02 said -- linux compatibility. Hugely important for me -- I have had to buy non Asus machines to fill that role in my inventory of late.

I would really like to see a Surface Book esque device from Asus, since they pretty much have the "pieces" - X13 + Z13 i.e. a tablet with a "keyboard dock". You would be able to get double the already good battery, easily push higher power limits on the CPU/GPU (since it wouldn't be combined), and have double the ports/drives and/or have full size ones. (It would also be double the price though lol, well maybe $3k would be reasonable given M$ prices).
Here is a screenshot suggesting the same thing from LTT's shortcircuit video almost 2 years ago

Upgradeable RAM. You know that gamers are going to want to upgrade their laptops, so why not make them upgradeable instead of MacBook-like?

Amd model you can.

Yeah, it sucks that the Intel model doesn't have that option with the 4070, at least the one I got. Plenty of room for it, too.

I would really like to see BIOS drivers for the MicroSD card slot to make it usable in BIOS for booting or BIOS flashing. I have several liveboot Linux distros on microSD cards but I need to use an external card reader to boot from them. Not being able to use the microSD card slot for BIOS operations severely reduces the usability of having an microSD card slot to begin with. I have two Zephyrus laptops (an older G15 and a newer G14 GA402XY). This is something that could be done to add value to both existing and future models. It's worth considering.

I have a GX703HS-XB99 that I've been very happy with since I purchased it (refurbished) in August, 2023... except for what appears to be a recurring problem: The ASUS power supply/cord requires frequent replacement. I am now shopping for my second replacement in less than a year, and at @$50/each this is not an insignificant outlay . The issue appears to be at the connection end of the cord, as rotating the connector cycles the battery/plugged-in status onscreen. As a temporary fix I can loop the cord around the USB plug for my headphones and it keeps it (nominally)_ in place, mostly. Replacement firmly fixes the problem. I'm thinking 2 (ASUS) replacement cords in less than a year belies a deeper issue. I do not consider my handling of the unit to be excessively rough, as it is usually only moved from my coffee table to my lap and back. Looking back through (several) forums I see I'm not the only one to have issues with this cord. Should I start looking for an aftermarket cord that is perhaps more robust?
My suggestion would be to supply a power supply/cord that doesn't need to be replaced every 5 months.

Hey ASUS teams,
I am pretty happy with my X13 Flow (GV302). I am very unhappy though that the device does not power on in clamshell mode. This has also been criticized for other ROG models.
Why? Is there any sane explanation for this? The cooling slots and power button placements are actually very much in favor of such a setup.
I recon this could (and should) be an easy UEFI option to add. This being done, I'd be completely satisfied with the product and happy to recommend even for professional use cases.

Yeah, that doesn’t make sense. My previous laptop, a MSI Delta 15, had intakes on top of the bottom case and still allowed clamshell mode.
