I just got the M16 and while I was setting it up noticed the effect below.
The text closer to bright colors (chrome in this example) is much brighter than the text on the 'inside of' command prompt. It kind of drops off as it gets further away from bright areas. This happens for everything (even this forum), command prompt is just the first thing I noticed. I have never used a mini-led display before so I'm not sure if this is just an inherent effect, but I'm hoping someone can help me fix it. I will primarily be using this laptop for coding so it's important to me that text doesn't look like this.
A couple things I have already tried:
* Disabled the adaptive brightness
* Updated graphics drivers in GeForce Experience
* Calibrated the display
Also read some stuff about how GameVisual sucks and has caused other people issues. Any idea if that could be the cause of the problem? I'm willing to do a clean install of windows if necessary, but would prefer not to. Thank you for your help in advance 🙂

Fixed - if anyone runs into this behavior and wants to change it all you need to do is switch from multi-zone backlight control to one zone backlight control in Armoury Crate under System Configuration.
