Issues with my 2024 Asus G14 4070

Hi all, I love the computer. I switched from my MacBook Pro to this and have been enjoying it, however, I do have some issues with the laptop.
1) The PC is not able to hold it's boost clock in any condition. It is advertised to get up to 5.2ghz which I have never achieved. I've seen it get up to 4.9ghz which is fine but it does not stay locked in. I have the fans turned up to 100%. I have it undervolted to -20mV to help with cooling but that doesn't work either. The cooling conditions are ideal. Laptop on wooden table in 68F room. While I was just benchmarking, the computer did a BSOD as well; the boost function simply does not work.
2) Even when I have the boost off, firsst it used tos tay locked at 3.9Ghz but in games, it'll now go to 3.6 to 3.7 from 3.9 which will cause stuttering and the CPU temp are around 75C at this point so it's definitely not a limitation with temperature.

3) This is a physical issue with the laptop. The palm rest, under neath where the rubber is near the base of the laptop, it is making a creaking / cracking noise. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the machining of the laptop but I've tested a laptop from Best Buy and it did not have this issue.

4) The hinge crackling. Happens after I am done with gaming or even light use. I am not sure why that happens as my MacBook has never done that despite how hot it would run.

Would appreciate any support I can get.

Anyone have recommendations, should I send in for RMA?

Power Limit Throttling (PL1/PL2): The laptop is not limited by temperature but by power restrictions (often around 45–65W). Another possibility is that the cooling system simply can’t handle the CPU’s full power draw, which is why it never reaches 5.2 GHz. Keep in mind that laptops generally don’t allow voltage adjustments, and any attempt to modify voltage goes beyond warranty coverage. You can usually only change the power limits (TDP) and clock speeds. It’s very hard to actually kill the CPU, but I wouldn’t recommend messing with voltage settings. Of course, it’s worth it, but only if you take it to an authorized service center. If your warranty is still valid, definitely use it.

If you’re not sure about the laptop and it was purchased recently, most likely you can return it without giving any reason. However, since you’ve been tweaking the voltage, there’s a high chance they could refuse the return.
