Is the ram usage at idles supposed to be at 50%

I using the 2024 GU605MZ with with 16GB of ram. this is my first time owning a high spec of a laptop. But for a 16GB ram laptop is it normal for the laptop for me idling around 50% usage? I have looked though the installed apps and removed most of the bloatware but it is still around the same. I also removed AC and myasus and downloaded G-helper, but nothing much as change. Even tried reinstalling windows but still the same. Maybe i just got a defective laptop (just bought it can still return it). If anyone could give me some advice or recommendation that would be much appreciated.

It's a Dual GFX laptop, nvidia GPU has it's own RAM but the Intel GPU will take a chunk out of your system RAM.

If you can disable the Intel GPU in the BIOS, try that and see what happens.
