I just saw the new page title : FORUM: G750, G751, GX550, G550 and G56 Gaming Notebooks

Does this mean that the G551 is now renamed to GX550 ?

Stuff like this getting dropped into the GX550. It's an ultra book......... ironically without a touch screen.

No, G551 is a separate - lower-end - product. GX is higher end than basic G. G551 is an update to already launched G550.
