GU502GV Keyboard stops working randomly

I have been having a problem with my keyboard just stop working randomly and it requires a cold boot to get it working again (have to hold down power button for over 5 seconds) when this happens the device manager shows that the USB stopped working. the only button that works is the power button and none of the other keys are functional, the keyboard still lights up but that is it. if i reboot using reboot with the mouse it still remains inactive.

May you double check if your BIOS, ASUS System control Interface V2 driver and Armoury Crate Service are updated?

Same model and same issue.

Solution is to not have Armour Crate Service or ROG Live service running which is hardly a solution.

Asus need to fix their software!!!
