I have a Samsung gaming Freesync monitor that i have been using with my Alienware 15 R4 and i have been able to run Gsync compatibility through it using the display port, however i have now switched to the Asus zephyrus s gx531 and im not sure if i can use the Gsync compatibily through the USB-C DP port? My plan is to get a USB-C to Displayport adapter and run Gsync(Freesync) at 1080p 144Hz.
Will it work with Gsync? Has anyone tried?
