On my Zephyrus G15 GA503RM the screen powers off after ROG logo on boot. This issue started in the past 2-3 weeks. It had never happened before that.
1. press power button
2. power light and keyboard light up
3. screen powers up and shows red ROG logo
4. the instant the ROG logo animation completes the screen powers off to completely black
5. Windows continues to load
6. I can use the keyboard shortcuts to shut down Windows
7. system completely powers off
WORKAROUND:
I can then repeat steps 1-4, except that on this second boot attempt, the screen will power off to completely black for about 10 seconds. Then, the red ROG logo animation will play again. But after this logo animation the white spinning circle will appear until Windows loads and I see my desktop (screen on).
In the powered on with screen off condition, starting a reboot from Windows keyboard shortcuts doesn't trigger the workaround. Windows loads but again the screen is powered off. The only way to load Windows and get the screen on is to shut down and then power on again with the power button.

I'm on BIOS version 318 which seems to be from 2022. My issue just started in the past 2-3 weeks.
I see BIOS version 319 is available since 2024/09/13. I'm waiting to update for a few more weeks to see if there's another solution.
