Last year, I picked up an ROG Zephyrus G15, and since then , I have had a multitude of problems.
- Sometimes the laptops just refuses to boot at all. There is no boot up logo, no sound, and no video output. It seems to happen at random
- The built-in screen cuts out partially or completely at times, forcing me to close and open the laptop furiously until it magically fixes itself.
- When the laptop wakes from sleeping, the fans both just decide to turn to 100% until I hard shutdown the laptop. (It does this on Windows and Linux). Yes, I tried using armory crate to fix it. It did not work.
Overall, I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the laptop. ESPECIALLY for how much is cost me out of my own pocket. I hope that somewhere out there there is a bios update or something that will fix these issues. If there is, please let me know so I don't have to suffer through this garbage any longer.
