I'm experiencing a strange issue with Windows Hello facial recognition on my ASUS G14 2024 (G403UV). The infrared (IR) webcam functions correctly initially, allowing me to set up facial recognition or log in after a fresh boot. However, subsequent attempts fail, with the IR camera seemingly not activating (no flashing visible).
Occasionally, the IR camera works again after waking the laptop from sleep, but only once. My Windows 11 installation, BIOS, and drivers are all up-to-date, and the Device Manager shows no issues. Reinstalling camera drivers hasn't resolved the problem.
Aside from this, the laptop is functioning perfectly. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Ok? Did you do something specific to fix it?

Well, quite unexpectedly, Windows Hello started to work perfectly fine after I installed the latest KB5037771 update today (even though release notes related to this update don't mention any changes made to facial recognition, user authentication, etc). Bizarre.
